Perch Energy and Solstice merger scales to 3 GW amid global energy volatility

April 2, 2026

Following Perch Energy’s acquisition of Solstice, the combined organization now manages a 3 GW community solar portfolio and a pipeline of more than 1,000 projects across 16 states—further solidifying its position as the largest community solar provider in the United States.

In an exclusive interview with pv magazine USA, company leaders discussed how increased scale is enabling more efficient customer acquisition, streamlined operations, and expanded access to electricity bill savings—particularly for low- to moderate-income households facing rising energy costs.

As global fuel prices fluctuate, executives noted that while retail electricity rates may take time to reflect these shifts, demand for cost-saving solutions like community solar continues to grow. Subscribers can typically save between 5% and 20% on their electricity bills, with even higher savings in select markets.

The combined platform also strengthens partnerships with solar developers and asset owners, offering a single, integrated solution across markets while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, customer experience, and long-term project performance.

Together, Perch Energy and Solstice are expanding access to affordable, reliable clean energy—helping more households and businesses reduce their energy costs and participate in the transition to a more sustainable future.
